Late Night Snack of Choice

I'll bet you there are some people out there who'd say their late night snack of choice is baby carrots, or cereal, or something less gluttonous than cookies, but late at night, a cookie is exactly what I'm after. 


It's not super often I keep them around, because I've been known to go overboard. One cookie becomes 5 cookies very quickly and inevitably.


But every once in a while it's good to have a few cookies on the premises. My number 1 cookie is the Chai Spiced Snickerdoodle from Isa Does It.


My runner-up is anything with peanut butter. Chocolate PB, PB criss-cross, Oat-y PB, any PB works for me.

    Good call on cookies! I love the giant cookies from Ms Cupcake - she has a bakery in London and a cookbook, but I'm not sure if she's famous in the USA. She definitely should be though, the cookies have the perfect crispy outside and chewy middle. Her snickerdoodles are excellent!

      I have heard of her through other bloggers! I haven't been to London in almost 10 years, but I'll have to revisit, it seems like a better place for vegans now :)

    Nice pick. Makes me think of Insomnia Cookies in Philly. One of my friends worked there before it took off. He loved telling people he worked for a late night cookie delivery service. They aren't vegan though... or so I assume.
